What I'm Learning

Hi, this is Cutie724, telling you what I have learned about Whyville and what I like. Well, first I will start off with what I like about Whyville. I love shopping on Whyville and raising my salary; I think this is good for us, because when we are adults we will know how to take care of our money. On Whyville, money is clams, and when we go shopping we know not to spend all our clams. So, when you have real money you'll know the same!

Now, if you spend all your clams on things you don't even use, please don't, because if you learn that on Whyville you might turn into that when you're older. You're probably saying, this is dumb, just because we spend our clams doesn't mean we are going to spend our money, but guess what? I have learned from it -- a couple of months ago, I would spend 300 clams in a day, then not wear the stuff I bought. Then one day I went shopping in real life and realized I was spending a lot there, too. That's why I'm telling you not to spend all your clams and money.

Okay, let's go on with the other stuff I like, like chatting and meeting new friends that live across the world from me. It's so kewl. To me these friends become like my friends at home. It's so amazing how I can't live without talking to them! Maybe I'm just so attached to them. But I like it.

What my school thinks about Whyville -- I know I didn't mention that in starting, but I told all the teachers about this site and they love it! They think it's good for our education, dealing with salaries and clams. Like I said, they think it's good for when we grow up, then we'll know how to deal with it already. They also think it's good learning how to throw projectiles with degrees. Me, I think it's fun and easy.

What I learned from Whyville -- very easy! I learned how to control buying stuff and not spending all my clams and not spend all my money. I learned that if you work hard on the games in Whyville you can get a salary, all the way up to 116 clams! Wow!! And if you work hard in real life you might get a good salary, too.

Another thing I learned was making face parts. Now whenever I want to paint on the program on my computer, I know how to make some good stuff. Oh, yeah, and when you want to throw projectiles, I learned the degrees, like how you have to put 90 or 270 or 180 or 0. I learned that, and the other day I had a surprise test, and I got an A because of throwing projectiles.

Well, that's all for today. Thanks for reading this. See ya later!

Signed,
Cutie724
