This is a picture that I took over my winter break while I was in South Carolina. I was obsessed with snapping pictures of palm trees, the beach, and the ocean. The weather was warm (at least for a Northerner such as myself) so I got to walk around in without a jacket, collect items from the sand, and take hundreds of photos. This is probably my favorite shot of the many pictures I took of palm trees because the way the brightness of the sky makes the tree appear almost as a silhouette, but you can still see the details of the grass and the trees bark. Although it was a rather grey and cloudy day, I am still proud that this picture turned out the way I was hoping.
