I was sitting on a bus, bored, on a long journey traveling home from school camp. Long road trips I find are a chance to sit and think while the world passes by outside your window. The houses, trees, animals and people outside inspire me. There didn't seem to be words that described the ongoing transition of altering scenery from rural areas, to suburban places, to the center of cities. So instead, I decided to try and contain every glimpse of beauty by taking photos. I gazed outside the window for a long time, camera poised close to the glass, my eyes seeking something that was worthy of being captured on camera. There is a feeling of freedom mountain scenery holds that has always mesmerized me. Looking at this picture makes me feel like I want to jump into the photo and run along the lush green hills.
