The next morning, I wake up to a super loud ringing walkie-talkie. When I check the time, it's only 3:00a.m. I didn't set my alarm to 3:00a.m. Grumpily, I get a coffee and put on some clothes. I haven't exactly thought of my plan to stop the war, but I'm sure I'll think of something.

At 4:00a.m. Otano calls me. He tells me to go to the Greenland. When I got there, I was surprised to see about 30 rockets, each one big enough to hold twelve dozen people, and seven hundred nuclear bombs. I begin to look frantically for Otano. When I finally spot him, there is a smirk on his face. I can't help thinking that he is enjoying all of this.

"You can't do this," I say to Otano, who is now ignoring my pleads. "We're going to hit NASA first, then the president's place," Otano says to a large man. "And after that, we attack every other place in North America, until there's nothing left of it." The man nods and darts off. The fury in my body makes my hands and knees shake. I couldn't hold it in any longer. I begin to beat the pulp out of Otano. I grab a walkie talkie from the floor as a weapon, and hit him with it even more. I'm awake long enough to feel the shot in my arm and a liquid running through my veins.

When I awaken, I observe the room I'm in. The walls are white, the floors are white, and the bed is white. I wonder how many hours I've been here. If I've been here more than one hour, then the battle between North America and Calentine has probably begun. I pull the needle out of my arm and run out the door. I was surprised to see Otano sitting on a chair staring at something. That something is outer space. How is it possible that we are on a rocket ship in outer space and it feels like I am barely moving? I guess I'll figure out later.

Otano must have heard my footsteps because he says, "You can't stop us," I open my mouth to say something, but he starts talking again. "No! They'll just attack us and we'll all be dead!" He isn't talking to me. He is talking to someone on his blue tooth. "Listen, if you want to talk to me, come to me directly. Tell your guards that I want to speak to you, face-to-face." he says. I run back to the room I was in and look out the square glass window on the door to see who walks in. I rubbed my eyes to see if I was dreaming, but I wasn't.

Carson is the last person I would imagine to rebel against his own planet, so I was amazed when he walked in. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but the anger showed in their faces. You could see Otano's bruised up arms making wild gestures. Then Carson leaves the room and Otano goes back to looking out to space. I walk in and this time he notices me. "Hey," he says warily. The cuts on his face make me feel powerful, knowing that I am capable of that. Instead of responding, I look at the clock near his map. It's 5:31a.m. We should be getting to Earth in 2-3 hours. That gives me enough time to make a plan.

The first thing I do is search for Carson. He is probably the only person who agrees with me that a war won't fix anything. I find Carson hunched on a chair in a room similar to Otano's. After I tell him about how I want to stop the war, he tells me some important information. We're on the only rocket that releases bombs, because Otano wanted to do the honor himself. Although we have the bombs, the other rockets have tons of soldiers. Those soldiers aren't allowed to fight unless Otano tells them to. On this rocket, there is a room called the Control Room. It is the room where you release the bombs. Almost automatically, a plan formed in my head.

By 6:00am, Carson and I put my plan in action. First we go to the Control Room and figure out how to lock the door from the inside while not actually being inside. Then we find a video camera and hook it up so that when we start recording, every television, laptop, radio, and computer in the United States will hear what I am saying. Lastly, Carson calls Otano to ask him to bring food in my room. When Otano went inside my room, we locked him in. This way nobody fights, nobody drops bombs, and everybody hears what I have to say.
