Author's Note: This is my first story so I hope I did good. Feel free to give me feedback and this is only Chapter 1. By the next Chapter, I hope I've improved. Constructive criticism is always welcome. My goal was to make this a bit interesting and I hope that my goal was achieved.

Introduction:

Chloe, Isabel, Amelia, and Zoe were just normal girls at West Fall Middle School until something brought them all together, something big. If it weren't for each other, they all would be dead right now. They never thought that something would form between all of them, but something did.

Chloe is a fashionable girl and is best friends with Aaliyah Monterao who is considered popular in their school so Chloe eventually became popular too. Isabel is more of a book worm and wishes desperately for friends but nobody cares about her and even knows she exists. Amelia and Zoe are already best friends and are your normal middle school kids.

Chloe:

Aaliyah grabbed Chloe's arm in a fast movement sharply and the pain jerked into Chloe as she let out a small scream. "Where were you last night!? I had to walk all alone in that party and it was the most embarrassing thing ever! You know I can't be spotted alone at a big party!" screamed Aaliyah. Jennifer walked by and Aaliyah waved but turned her attention back to Chloe. Chloe said "I'm so sorry, I forgot the time and my phone w-" and she was harshly interrupted "Whatever! Don't let it happen again or you're dead." Aaliyah snapped as she walked to the main courtyard.

Chloe had no choice but to follow. She put on a new coat of lip gloss and glanced at her make-up mirror. She could feel some of the girls giving her bad glances but for all she cared. This is my life and I can choose what I want my character to be she thought. Aaliyah had gone to the bus area and Chloe hurried after.

Isabel:

Isabel sat on a bench behind the school reading her book like she usually does. She could hear cheers and screams from the front of the school and was disturbed. "Will you be quiet!?" she wanted to yell but she didn't have the words. No one cared about a thing she said and obviously she would do nothing but embarrass herself. She moved a piece of dark brown hair behind her shoulder and re-arranged her glasses trying to concentrate on her book. Oh how she wished that she could have any friends but she knew that it would never happen. No one cared about a single thing she did and would ever care.

This was one of the days that Isabel felt like crying but she knew she had to be strong. Trust me, if she could spend all of her life crying . . . she would. She heard footsteps approaching and quietly slipped against a wall at the side of the school. She decided to sit there for a while and breathe. Soon the school bell rang, she gathered up her book and backpack and walked to the school building in no rush.

Amelia and Zoe:

Amelia and Zoe hurried in school as the door bell rang and hurried to their lockers. They were racing Dylan and had to get their first. Amelia skidded to a stop with Zoe behind them and 3 seconds later Dylan approached. "Nice job girls!" yelled their friend Dylan and gave them both high fives. The popular kids walked past rolling their eyes at everybody else like usual. Dylan was immediately shoved into a locker on purpose. "HEY! THAT'S MY FRIEND YOU KNOW!" yelled Zoe. "Whatever" said one of the kids not even listening to what she said walking past.

They all opened up their lockers and got their books. Amelia and Zoe went into their class as Dylan went into the opposite direction. "Bye! See you at lunch!" said Dylan while running to his class.
