wreckage of life
chasing shadows through bannered hallways,
close your eyes, remember the past.

dark rooms and hopeful eyes
abandoned memories, ice-frozen dreams
a lonely girl standing in the snow.

standing alone --
white moon, burning sun.
counting the days until the apocalypse ends.

creation of darkness
flight of the rebellion.

if the world were a bike,
i would be on the seat:
steering the universe to its senses.

crippled time
the clock is ticking, running out
red hot anger painted on a delirious face.
tick.
tick.
tick.
gone, blank surfaces like the pad of an unused canvas.

if the world were a hurricane,
i would be the eye of it:
destroying everything for a clear path, steering the universe to its senses.
