'I've been running through these wood for hours. I can't keep up much longer.' I thought to myself. I was being followed by this . . . creature. I had no idea what it was. At first I thought it was an animal, but it had a ghostly tail. It was semitransparent and had wings, black wings where you could see the veins very clearly. It attacked my friends. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself so let me start from the beginning. . .

My name is Jennifer Anderson, and I am a 17 year old girl. This whole story started at my house. My friends were outside, constantly beeping the horn. We were going on a camping trip for 5 days at a local campground that was about 15 minutes away. "Now, Jennifer, don't stay up too late. I know you will be with your friends and all but just promise me you won't do anything bad." My mom told me. I assured her I wouldn't. She went on about safety. She was being a little overprotective if you ask me. When we were done talking, I gave her a hug and a kiss, grabbed my overnight bag, and ran outside to my impatient friends.

The car ride wasn't as boring as I thought it would have been. My friends made it fun. "Who is up for truth or dare?" Bobby asked.

"I am. What about you guys?" I said. The other three agreed we should play. It was fun. We were 3/4 of the way there when the game was over. I had a nagging suspicion that something evil was around though. I felt that something wanted to kill us. My friends either didn't feel it or just wouldn't fess up to it. As well as this suspicion, I would occasionally get this feeling we were being watched. "Guys. Do you get the feeling we are being . . . watched?" I asked.

"Of course not. Jenni," Sara said. "You're just being paranoid." This assured me a little bit, but I did not believe them all the way. I just kind of pushed it away for that time being.

We arrived at 12 PM. When we got to the spot where we were supposed to be camping, a feeling of nostalgia surged through me. I had memories of when my family and I came here. I could remember the time me and my family got our lunch stolen by a bear and many other things. I had this feeling of relaxation. Shortly after I got that feeling, it was diminished. I still got the feeling that we were being watched again. I suddenly felt a chill. Something evil was definitely out there. I could sense it.

Our campsite was, obviously, in the woods. It was near the bathroom. It was a camping spot owned by a company. There was moss absolutely everywhere you went. Me and Sara went to the bathroom while Bobby, Marcie, and Leslie set up the tent. Inside the bathroom was nice. It had tiled walls, a marble floor and a plain ceiling.

"Sara, I don't think I am paranoid about something watching us." I said. "You of all people should know I am usually right about this kind of stuff." Sara was my best friend. She knew the most about me and I knee the most about her.

"Jenni, I never really thought you were paranoid. I just said that so I wouldn't worry the others. I have had the feeling too." Sara replied. Sara had one big secret - she was a witch. She looked like a normal girl on the outside but on the inside she was full of magic. We went on for a few more minutes.

When we were done conversing, we went back to our campsite. We kept that conversation a secret. When we returned, we were amazed how bug the tent was. It blended in with the trees, making it somewhat hard to see. We were all starving so we ate sandwiches. I don't remember what the others had on theirs but mine was just normal ham and cheese.
