Safety Patrol Question

Hello, my name is oANNIEo and I am new to Whyville, so I may not be completely filled in about all the news. However, I noticed a single article by Cyranojoe (see below). First off, I would like to say how much I truly enjoy Whyville -- I had heard about it within my school and decided to try it. The only comments I have are: it's quite addicting =) and I'm amazed that someone could have dreamed it up.

The second thing I want to mention is the article by Cyranojoe about the "Whyville Safety Patrol". I would absolutely love to try out one of the spaces, but I don't have a Why-Pass. I was wondering if the City Workers would allow us to be part of this organization if we're not going to be able to work all of the time.

Until next time....

Note from Cyranojoe: An insightful question! Yes, indeed, we'll certainly let in to the Safety Patrol any citizen whose reports are consistently on the mark. What matters is your accuracy and ethics, not how often you're in Whyville, although of course we'd like to see you around as much as possible, both as patrol and as a good example to your fellow citizens. It's possible that truly outstanding members of the Patrol will eventually earn Why-Passes as their reports help City Hall more and more; no promises, this is just me brainstorming ideas! We'll just have to see how successful the Patrol is, then decide.
