He took his last breath, and then I felt his last grip on my hand. I whispered in tears "Goodbye Daddy"

This black inferno
That lived inside of him
He had no cure, only chemicals and needles.
He felt weak
He felt tired
He felt miserable
He told me "fly like a bird" while he just fell to the ground.
This dark world
Full of madness and misery, finally got to him.
I picked him up, but he just fell right back down.
"How can I help?" I would ask
He would say "Just remember me, when I'm gone" he said with a dead look on his face.
The black inferno inside of him, took me down.
Not by infecting me
But by destroying me
He laid there
On his bed
A creepy old hospital bed
His last few weeks
Unresponsive.
Then he woke up
"Take me outside" he said
We followed his desire
His last day outside
He took his last chance to see the world for one more time.
The next morning
He took his last breath, and then I felt his last grip on my hand. I whispered in tears "Goodbye Daddy"

Cancer is his killer.
