"I screamed and cursed loud enough for everyone to hear. I stumbled over my words "Gaur- No- Capt- Grab them!" I managed to yell just as two of the eight cards desolved into thin air. Then I relised; Knave was back! That no good trator! I walked over to them, Knave and Alice, just about to boil over. "You little . . . I grabbed Knave's wrist and Alice's neck and steared them away. "You two will make fine replacements, no payment, for those to guards that sadly disolved not to long ago." I said coldly."

That was an expert from one of my favorite roleplays, or RP, Wonderland. I play the Queen of Hearts, or Rose, and was trying to capture Alice and keep her from overthrowing me, the queen, and also capture Knave, Hatter, and a few others that I cant think of off the top of my head. It's so fun! (Oh, and shoutout to Hatter and Knave, will post POV soon!)

"Wait," you say. "Wonderland? Evil queen? Roleplay?" Well, there is no short answer to any of these questions. To answer the first two, you will have to read the Wonderland roleplay (Fourms, Books and Writing, Roleplay/RP, Wonderland RP.) but the last question is a much longer story (yes, longer than a fourty nine page roleplay and counting). I thought you may not just want to here from me, so I asked some roleplayers to tell the story for me!

Dreamgr22: In your own words, what exactly is roleplaying?

Sweetaly: Roleplay is a bit like improv, you could say. You may have a plan in mind, then if someone does something else, you have to change it up, which can be a good thing or a bad thing.
CantYouC: To me, roleplaying is a story with multiple writers that come together and create a world aside from reality amongst themselves and all who join.
tybella3: Roleplaying is basically writing a story in the sense that other writers can do specific POVs (point of views) for their characters. We move the plot line along with multiple people, instead of one specific author.
mildbird: Roleplaying is basically a story you're in, and there are other characters, and you just wait until it's your turn to tell what your character does.

Dreamgr22: What are some of the roleplays you are in currently?

Sweetaly7: Hmm. Well, I'm in Wonderland, Escape, Holidays, Well This Is Awkward, Not Like The Movies, Death Of Me, and Boundaries, just for the active ones.
CantYouC: I am currently participating in quite a few roleplays: Star Children, Different, Escape, Etc. Etc. Halloween Party was my very first RP ever and I have loved it ever since I started; it currently is one of the most updated rp's as well.
tybella3: I am in a lot of roleplays at the moment, because sadly, as wonderful as it is, it is my main past time. Halloween Party, Star Children, Escape!, and the Camp Crescent restart are some current roleplays I am in.
mildbird: I'm currently in InkHeart, and Secret Santa, and Previous.

Dreamgr22: What is your favorite thing about roleplaying?

Sweetaly7: I love the quality of the roleplays and most roleplayers. I also like how strange things happen. A loud, obnoxious boy who hates people who are quiet might end up with a quiet, introverted girl who hates loud people ~ you never know.
CantYouC: I'd have to say that my favorite part about roleplaying is being able to portray my imagination in words and the joy of having others see what I see in my mind in just a few sentences; it's also quite rewarding as others make their own point of views throughout the story as well.
tybella3: My favorite thing about roleplaying is being able to be multiple people without it being identity theft.
mildbird: My favorite thing about roleplaying is when it's my turn to speak so I can tell how my character feels and what she does!

Dreamgr22: Is there anything else you would like to mention about roleplaying?

Sweetaly7: It's really fun and helps with your writing! I remember my rather embarrassing first RP post, where I broke all 6 rules in the same post . . . ah, those were the days. Anyways, now I'm joining all of the roleplays and not doing quite as bad! Most everyone is really nice in the roleplay section, as well.
CantYouC: Roleplaying is quite fun and interesting; it's different, but in a wonderful way - it's a great way to spend time seeing as writing is both beneficial to yourself and the others reading your group works.
mildbird: I wanna give recognition to one roleplayer . . . TYLER! You da bomb!

So that's the story, or, well, part of it. The only way to REALLY get the story is to check out a few roleplays yourself! I hope to see you writing soon in my favorite section of the forums!
