Don't Doubt Me

I just read all the articles on the animal cruelty subject. I totally agree with WiccanGal and Merchant. Killing animals for science is totally and completely wrong. Even if they find a dead animal on the road they should not dissect it for science! Would you like to have you body poked about after you're dead? I think not!

I am also a vegetarian and have been one for five, almost six months. I decided to become one because I love animals and no animal should be killed so someone else can eat it. I think some of you may have a different view. You may totally agree or majorly disagree with me. That is what ever you think.

At first, when I told my friends, they thought it was another one of my flings and I would be eating meat within the next 10 hours. They were wrong. Every person should be able to express themselves the way the choose to and not have someone doubt them!

After a week or so, some of my friends started to tease me, they would shove meat in my face, say it was really good and they couldn't believe I could survive without it. It is very wrong to put a person down in what they believe in. I myself disagree with people and am not afraid to tell them. I don't think they are right, but I don't make them believe what they think is wrong.

Also, while we are at it and I'm in the mood to write, let's talk about fur. Fur is totally wrong to wear, buy or sell. Do you know what they do to those poor animals? Believe me if you don't know, you don't want to know! If you buy a full-length mink coat, you are wearing dozens of dead animals. Why would you want to wear a dead animal's fur coat? I have no idea.

The people who make those coats are legal poachers. They kill animals, tear them apart and use some small percentage of their body and they throw the rest away!! Why can't they be like the American Indians? They hunted and killed animals, too, but they did it to survive and they used every single part of the body of that animal! Some even thanked the animal whose death helped them survive!

Well, now I have to calm down and I'll wrap this article up. Expect to hear more from me in the future!
