I'd known her much, much longer
And I really wish they'd cared
But they giggled in the corner
And with horror, I only stared

Wishing they could know
How it feels to be betrayed
And every day even until now
I wish they would've stayed

Their eyes bore into mine
As the trio points to me
Talking behind my back, I assume
I wish I could let them be

But every day I think about them
They're burned into the back of my mind
And every day I want to forget
But I can't put them behind

Those two friends were once trusted
Now it's not two friends but three
And now that there are three friends
There are two for her and none for me.
