My gosh
It's sixty degrees, just an inch from inside
Today will be the day baby open your eyes
Still too young to realize the sickness you fight
Please, be alright

The trees are calling out and I think it's for you
Don't you think you deserve not to lie there so blue?
Let's forget about your documents and needles and tubes
To be alright

And don't you dare say that it hurts to breathe in
You better feel lucky that you're still breathing
It's tough but it's life and sometimes it's intense
You'll be alright

It's just so bright, I couldn't leave you in there
You're getting taller now, growing back all that hair
Smile baby, laugh, this is the fresh air
that you wanted!

I'll never forget the looks on your face
You won't see me crying at the end of the race
We beat it baby, you're done with this place
so be alright
