Clinging to memories won't bring back the past
I was stupid for trying, thinking the feelings would come back
How long have I been sitting here, staring out the window?
I swear there was snow on the ground, not too long ago.
Turns out I've been sitting here, wallowing in you
For so long that my body died and I'm still feeling blue
My soul is floating in the same exact place
Where our bodies died
I can't believe you left me so long ago
Yet I can still cry.
It's insane, intense, these memories
They're all that's left of my humanity
I'm slowly slipping under, to insanity
Alone, at night.
