You have taken something precious; a touch of sentiment gone to waste.
You have written down words, not to find meaning, but made with distaste.
You have twisted purpose to fit your truth,
You have destroyed the poetry that resembled your youth.
So is there meaning behind your words of despise?
Or are they recycled from another towards the "plagiarism and lies?"
What lacks originality is the tirade you produce,
Not the interpretation of a poem whose purpose you constantly deduce.
I have to admit that it can grow old
When a poem is cliched with lessons retold.
But is that what you hate? Is that the focus of your debate?
Because that's a form of expression, even if your inspired by a work of someone else.
Poetry, no matter what it is, is a form of expression.
Just like your execration, it declares itself.
