Blurry vision, whispered questions
But you say you don't care
Muffled screams and lost confessions
And who was ever there?
I wonder if you're strong enough,
Because I couldn't be
When I lived life beyond the touch
Of our society
You say you've kissed your conscience
and laid it down to sleep:
but only if their thoughts are true!
And that could never be!
So scream your feelings to the church
and hiss them at the crowd:
If who you are makes you the worst,
Forget it and be proud.
