He wooed her with his charming intellect and she fell immediately
Into a deep abyss of confusion and affection with no way out
And when she called for help, he left her there with nothing to do and nowhere to go.
She cried for a few nights, then she came to her senses and denied herself the feelings.
She became angry and bitter, resentful and rude;
Destroying everything in her path, abandoning all sense, with reckless rage
Along came a new boy, soft spoken and sweet
He wiped away her tears and swept her off her feet
She smiled and laughed, found the power to love and then he left too.
Now the girl is broken more than she ever was.
She waits for one of them to come back and woo her once again
But the girl knows the truth.
She isn't worth the time or effort, and they came to their senses.
The boys know what she never did, and now she is alone.
