Look at this photograph titled "Chameleon" by the artist Johannes St?tter. What do you see?

I see a chameleon standing on a small stick in a forest with a blurred background. Why is it so popular though? Sure it's interesting, but whats SO special about this chameleon? Why is it so much more popular than someone else's picture of one? It could be the stripes, or the rainbow neck, or just that it's a nice, close up, sharp image of a wild animal . . . or is it?

Look closer. What do you see? Anything weird? Maybe . . . human like?

If you havent figured it out yet let me help you . . .

This image was made of two women (who look like they are in the middle of a game of some serious Twister) who were painted and photographed to look like a chameleon. Cool, right? I love seeing images like this.

A while back a new show named 'Skin Wars' premiered on tv, and it was all about body painting. You should check it out. Pretty interesting. They did challenges like this with each episode being a different theme. They were eliminated one by one until a winner was declared and went home with the prize.

Thanks for reading! Hope you guys enjoy this picture as much as I did.

Author's Note: I did not take this photograph and do not take credit for it in any way. You can find it on the artist's website here: http://www.johannesstoetterart.com/
