I'm back with a new drawing! This one I actually drew on paper first then transformed into a digital drawing. This week I drew Bob Dylan, the famous folk rock musician who is widely regarded as one of the greatest singers and songwriters of all time.

I chose to do his most well known look for my drawing. This was around 1965, when he usually wore simple black blazers and coats with a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses.

Here is the original drawing. I had to paint out some words on the side since they weren't appropriate for the Times.

And here is the final product:

This is my first time transferring a paper drawing onto the computer and I am very happy with the outcome. I tried keeping the "sketchy" look by making the lines messy and not coloring the image because I think it looked nice with a drawing as simple as this one. I kept shading minimal because I wanted it to stay as a simple cartoon. Also, like my last submission I made the drawing into an animation and included the link in the Author's Note at the bottom. I hope you take the time to take a look at it and tell me what you think! All I did was animate the eyebrows, glasses, and dots in the background but I think it looks pretty cute.

And as always, thanks for reading and leave your suggestions on the BBS!

Author's Note: Image from rollingstone.com, link to animation is tinyurl.com/nicos-gif2.
