So this piece came about by accident. I was just sketching absently as I waited for my sister. It ended up being a combination of Psychobilly and Fairy Kei fashion. I also ended up adding elements of an old drawing of an escaped science experiment. It works well with the Psychobilly flair. I really liked the initial sketch, so I decided to trace onto a larger sheet of paper and give her a body. This piece took me two weeks from sketching to inking to final coloring, and there isn't even a background, heh. I took my time and really worked hard on making it look cohesive with all the elements of both fashions. It worked out well in the end.

Psychobilly, for anyone unaware, is a music genre that combines punk rock with rockabilly, and includes themes usually pertaining to horror and taboo things. My personal favorite Psychobilly band is Zombie Ghost Train. And Fairy Kei is a Japanese fashion that is very much like Decora with it's many accessories and bright colors. My favorite elements from this piece are the eyeball bag and my shading on everything, especially the bangs and bandages. I am really proud of this piece.
