LORLE
Whyville Poet
Poetry, like the ocean, laps at my ankles.
I kiss the breeze of words ebbing at the rocks of my prejudices,
The layers of truths I had found are swept away.

Poetry, like breath, keeps me living,
with each inhale I take in the sweet scent of rhythm,
and I exhale all that I thought I knew.

Poetry, like the glowing sunrise,
brings me new opportunities to use in each day,
Reminding me the world revolves around beauty, not me.

Poetry, the gift of a new Idea,
the love for all things living,
the exposition of one's soul just to help all human kind.

The Power,
the beauty,
POETRY
