When the sky gets dark
And the moon is out of sight.
I can see her shining,
Utter beauty at night.

The darkness brings fear,
Horror of the unknown mind,
But when I saw her then,
She was nothing but kind.

Cause she was a comet,
Shooting across the sky,
So breathtaking,
As she whispered, "Hi."

My eyes met with bright blue stars.
Sparkling, they pull me close.
While time, it drifts, but the world it fades.
Stunned. I stare, and my. My body froze.

In the dark, there came light.
A light of hope. A light of healing.
I lay awake, I keep thinking.
Thank you, well
Thank you for this feeling.

You were a comet.
Shooting across my sky.
You took my breath away,
As you whispered, "Hi."

So I thank you for this feeling
my special comet,
thank you for revealing
the beauty found in the night
