Time to Dance!

Hi, it's Twigsy. Out of everything in Whyville, from shopping to throwing projectiles, from playing games to talking, and all those other fun things, we always forget about the dances. And today I am going to talk about dances because I don't think anyone else has!

First of all, how do you dance? Well, you go to the Dance Studio and say hi to MiMi, then you click the sign that says 'Learn to groove baby' (LoL) and then pick a dance (you can preview it by clicking the name). Then you buy the dance... but before you can use it, you have to learn it.

How do you learn a dance? There are things in little places that look like numbers with arrows on either side -- one goes vertical, one goes horizontal, and both makes it diagonal. (Editor's Note: Those arrows are called vectors, FYI). Then you follow the steps that the creator of the dance has shown you by using those numbers. Enter those numbers in and once you are done you can dance that dance whenever you feel like it!

Back to the first question, how do you dance? Well, let's pretend the name of the dance was 'the hoki poki'. You would go into a chat room, like the pool or the playground or something, and you say 'dance the hoki poki' and you do the little dance!

I think it's really cool that we are able to do so many things that other places cannot. Dancing is one of them. Thanks to Whyville for making this such a great place!
