Hey Whyville! Shmee here to tell you about something I noticed in Whyville.

As I'm sure many of you know, every night round 4:00 AM Whyville time something interesting happens. Something I like to call "down time". For those of you who don't know what down time is, I will be happy to explain it to you. At 4:00am, Whyville doesn't work the way it usually does. What happens is, Whyville won't load. Let's say you're in Playground, and it happens to be down time -- if you carelessly decide to go to the Pool Party, well, sorry to say, it won't load and there's no going back!

What I mean by 'not load' is that it will say, "Sorry this page can not me displayed," or "Action cancelled". Whichever one shows up, you know what has happened. Now, down time lasts approximately 17 minutes. ALSO a very good tip is, when it's about 3:50am, go to one of the chat rooms you enjoy and during down time you may be able to stay in these rooms. But if you do get "kicked off", just find something interesting to do. Maybe read a book, or brush your teeth, or watch TV. Anything you can find. And trust me, you will get through the horrifying disaster. :)
