All About Whyville

Guest Writer

Hey, this is Nipster here.

I got a little bored waiting to get in Whyville, so I thought I would write the Times. I decided to interview my sister Ylady and her best friend Megagirl3. Even though we have a 2 year age difference, we all have one thing in common: WHYVILLE

Q: Okay. How did you hear about Whyville?
Ylady: My annoying older sister told me about it.
Megagirl3: Ylday told me.

Q: How was Whyville described to you?
Ylady: A virtual city where you could earn money and create a new life on the net.
Megagirl3: To have a cyber life on the internet and you get to look like you want to.

Q: What do you like about Whyville?
Ylady: Um, I like all the fun things and I like earning clams and talking to ppl and decorating my rooms.
Megagirl3: Chatting, building and decorating my house, some of the games to earn clams and shopping, definately, decorating myself

Q: What are your overall opinions of Whyville?
Ylady: I think its a really great place and I have a lot of fun on Whyville. Even though it's hard to get on, I still enjoy it. Whyville already has great things and it is still improving, but it could improve a lot more.
Megagirl3: Um, it's a great learning experience and a very fun website. Keep up the good work!

Here is my opinion on Whyville:

I love Whyville and I think it's the best thing since sliced bread. Sorry, I always wanted a reason to type that (what was the best thing before sliced bread?). I was told to try this website because I couldn't find anything that would keep me interested on the web, because I love science but most sites out there don't have the challenge that Whyville has with all of the games.

Whyville is a great place to learn. I didn't know about the physics involved in spinning a can before I came here and I never thought much how the center of gravity and spinning are tied together. Thanks to Whyville, I plan to work in a field of science to find out more about the world around me, studying how science is in our everyday lives. The other great things I love about Whyville are the freedom to speak your mind in a safe environment and also an overall happy environment. I love how I can chat to people from Florida from all the way up here in Ontario, and I love how much you can learn about other countries.

This is Nipster, saying:
WHYVILLE IS THE PLACE YOU SEE
IT IS WHERE WE WANT TO BE!
