Prom Night!

As mostly everybody in Whyville has heard, there is supposedly a prom on May 27. Now that's cool. It's a chance to hang out and party with your b/f or g/f. The question is how can we go to a prom if we've never gone to Whyville school? I think the name should be changed...Whyville Dance? Whyville Party? But Prom Night?

Anyway, back to the part of hanging out and having fun. There are lots of things you can do at this prom night... anything from playing football to sending smoochies to your sweetheart. And believe me, there are going to be alot of business opportunities, like selling flowers or chocolate. Get the guy to clam the salesperson, then the salesperson "throws" a chocolate or flowers or whatever it is they're selling at the girl (or vice versa!).

Whyville Prom Date

There are a lot of people who do not have Whyville Prom dates. Boys aren't asking. We need the boys to ask the girls. To those people who don't have dates you all can go as a group of friends, or you could just go alone and hang out. Whyvillians who say they are not going, they will be missing out on a lot of fun.

This was Lizylue,
goodbye

Prom Questions

Most of you know about the prom, May27. What most of us don't know is about dates. Many people are asking people about going and so many are being turned down.

Friends. Friends are a great idea. The idea of going with your friends has hit Whyville with such force many people are doing it. Other ideas for dates are:

  1. go by yourself (or not at all)
  2. be polite to your hope-to-be date
  3. get real pretty, handsome etc.

Hey, People! People shouldn't have to tell you how to get a date. You are going to get a date when you are being yourselves. And God bless all of you whyvillians!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Results Are In!

Over the days I've been asking people how they feel about the prom and these are the results:

I'm ready and I've got a special outfit and date waiting: 34%
Nobody has asked me yet and I've got an outfit waiting: 65%
I don't know how to dance: 1%

Well there you have it folks, the mixed feelings about the prom... in percentages.
