Stay up late
Sleep till noon
Just sit outside

Swat mosquitos
Survive on junk food
Like cookies and Fritos

Go to camp
Make new friends
Dread the day
That summer ends

Summer is the one thing
We wait for all year
But we are bored to death
Now that it's finally here

Well, now we're not bored
We're back in school
No more hanging out
And swimming in the pool

Let's look at the bright side
