What the Times Means to Me

Hello, citizens of Whyville. Today I am going to dedicate this article to what the Times means to me. So, here goes:

In my opinion, the Times is a way for us (Whyvillians) to express our feelings by telling the rest of Whyville what we think should be done, or in some cases how we feel about another Times Writer's article.

The Times is also a place to discuss important issues of Whyville, such as any upcoming additions or new games or if the City Workers are going to improve something.

In the Times you can also find some of our very own designers talking about the latest fashions, what's in style and what is out. In some cases you may find an article giving recognition to designers, like Merchant's article Who's Who: Designers.

Also located in the Times is a section dedicated to Whyville Scams. There you can find people talking about 911 reports, the latest scams that have been tried on us Whyvillians, and articles that tell you what or who to avoid.

Another very popular section in the Times is Mediawiz's What's On!, where he tells you the dates and times for some fascinating shows during the week. Be sure to check that out!

And then there are the Y-Files, dun dun dun... there you can find mysterious happenings on Whyville... check it out for the latest conspiracies, muhahaha!

And then there's the classic jokes section. Go there and you'll be sure to have a laugh.

Who can forget about the Poetry Section? Where pure talent is displayed among us Whyvillians, some from the heart, and others will make you laugh....

There's also a section dedicated to the newer generation of Whyville, the Help Section. Newbies and others can find guidance throughout their journeys of Whyville.

Hot Topics: basically explains what citizens tell you what's hot and what's not. Hahaha, boy crack my self up sometimes. But back to the subject.

Good ol' Politics section, where Whyvillians speak their mind about what should be done in Whyville government!!!

And last but not least, the Whyville poll section of the Times, where petitions by citizens like you and, well, me go if they get lots and lots of votes. Once they have reached this stage, City Hall examines them and automatically disregards the ones with titles like '1000 clams if you sign!!!' -- basically, the ones where the writer tried to bribe people to sign.. If City Hall finds one she thinks is reasonable, she looks into making it real. And where it goes from there, I do not know....
