Share the Kindness - Or Not?

Hey all! It is I, Star119, and this is my first article so I hope that it makes it in! For my first article, I was hoping that it could be about something good that has happened to me on Whyville, but unfortunately, it can't.

I have been on Whyville on and off for about 2 years now, but recently, I have been coming on more often. I have had a lot of fun, but what happened to me a couple of weeks ago made me very disappointed in Whyville.

One night around 9:15, I was at the Pool Party. I kindly moved my person around so as not to block anyone, and I found a place to sit, watch and talk. After sitting there for not even 2 minutes, I was rudely yelled at by the girl beside me.

"EWWW!!!!!" she said, "You have your lips all the way down to ur neck!" I did not look like that, I thought, though I could if I wanted to, but I felt angered that I did not live up to her standards. I am not saying to look however people want you to look, but I was mad when she said that to me! Whyville is a place to learn and be unique, and that is what I am doing.

However, there are two more things that I would like to add to this article. One, she had her lips in the exact same place, but still continued to harass me, and two, the fact that no one said anything nice to me. Whenever I see people being rude like that to other people, I instantly add the victims to my address book, and do my best to send them messages so that they do not feel bad. Nobody said anything nice to me! Instead, they laughed! I was horrified. Here I was thinking that there are a few nice people on Whyville, kind enough to say something, yet I never saw that.

I just wanted to mention to people that when you see someone being picked on, it should be worth your time to send them some kind words. I've done this myself, and when I got picked on, I was wishing that someone would have had the heart to do that to me!

Well, that is all that I really have to say...

Don't worry... be happy...
