A New Year's Resolution

Have you made a New Year's Resolution yet?

Everyone in Whyville is different. Some are from Canada, others United States, others from Australia too. In fact, everyone on Whyville is different, whether it's where they live or what their personality is. But all of us have a fault or habit that we would like to get rid of. Which brings me to my point. Have you made a New Year's Resolution yet?

A New Year's resolution is something (example: a bad habit) that you would like to either DO or DO NOT for next year. An example of a "DO" resolution is: For Next Year, I would like to always keep my room clean. An example of a "DO NOT" resolution is: For Next Year, I will not treat others poorly. What kind of a person you are and what your daily habits are is what makes each resolution different.

As another example, I will share my New Year's resolution with you. It is: for the Year 2003, I would like to finish my homework before I hang out with my friends. I chose this as my resolution because I frequently leave my homework to the possible last second so I can play with my friends. But now that I believe school is most important in my life, I've made that particular resolution.

Remember everyone, when making a resolution, it's your own choice to share it with others or not. I chose to share mine with all of you, but I don't think people expect everyone to share their own. Sometimes resolutions are personal and private, so it's up to you whether you want to share it or not.

Also make your resolution as best you can. After all, this is the subject you would like to change for next year remember!

Well that's all for this topic. Happy Holidays everyone, and have fun making your resolutions!
