New Year's Contest

Hey Whyvillians, An0nymous here once more.

I guess lots of you have been here for a while, and some are new. To the newer citizens, I assure you Whyville is a good place to be.

I'm writing here on January 5th, a little late, but I want to talk about New Year's. I had a great one! This past year, City Hall, the Editor and all the Why-Workers have been great to us. We got all these new sections for our articles in the Times -- now more of us can get our articles published.

City Hall and all the Why-Workers have given us so much! A new mall, a beach, and now, they're actually working on getting us a health center! Not to mention the whole food thing that is planned.

Suffice to say, the past year in Whyville has been good.

Now, I want you to send me your stories! Tell me what your greatest moment was in the year 2002 in Whyville. Tell me what you liked the most! I'll post the winning articles in the Times in a future article, as soon as the contest is over. Now, for the prizes:

  • 3rd place: 50 clams and a face part of your choice from Akbar (as long as it's in stock!)
  • 2nd place: 100 clams and 2 face parts of your choice from Akbar
  • 1st place: 150 clams and 3 face parts of your choice from Akbar!

Good luck! Send all of your stories to An0nymous. (0 is a zero, not an "o") I'm not sure quite when this article will be published, but, the contest will end on, let's say, January 20th.

Good luck once again! I hope lots of you participate!

Yours Truly,
an0nymous

P.S. I will notify you on the 20th if you've won. I'll then give you your prize, and if you don't want your story published, it doesn't have to be.
