Hey everyone, LukeG here, but I can't say I'm here to tell you happy things... Whyville has turned into a dating game. That's about as frank as it comes, but there is complete truth in that statement, in my opinion. I was just thinking about this, so I went to the Playground. Here is what happened:
- Her: r u single? (that's the real grammar)
- Me: I just came in the playground you don't even know me and you're asking me out?
- Her: So? I think ur really hot!
Then someone else comes up to me, and the first thing she did after she got to the Playground was ask if I wanted a girlfriend. So I left to write this article.
What is you people's problem? Do you come to this site to say you love somebody? Just so the little face you think you adore will say it back? We can't forget break-ups though, boo-hoo, you can't say you love them any more. I really don't see the problem. One less word you have to say to somebody!
Honestly though, if I recall correctly, this site is for learning science as well as having fun in other ways. Some may say having a relationship is fun. I don't know... but if you're going to rely on a site to get a girlfriend or boyfriend... GET A LIFE!
Anyway, this is LukeG saying stand-up for what you believe in, and good-bye.
