Book Review
Stacey and the Cheerleaders, BSC #70

by Soozlonga
Whyville literature critic

When Stacey starts dating Robert, a cute basketball star, she gets to hang out with the "popular crowd". They're the jocks and the cheerleaders, and they're super cool, much more sophisticated than her friends in the Baby-Sitters Club. Plus, the cheerleaders have asked Stacey to try out for the squad. Even though the Baby-sitters think the cheerleaders are stuck up snobs, they're still rooting for Stacey. But what happens when she makes the team? Will Stacey and her new boyfriend be too cool for the BSC??

Read the book to find out what happens!

I think this is a fantastic book. I've read it quite a bit. Here are some comments from my Whyville friends:

Destiny14: "I thought the baby-sitter club books were lame, but this book is actually okay!"

Chrissy27: "Great book!"

creamcake: "This book is fantastic, and i think its good even though i hate reading."

Area 51: "I've never read a book with such realistic character!"

QTPie13: "I think ya'll should read this awesome read. Its so good that I've read it about 700 times! I even bring it into the shower to read! Nahh, I'm just playin'"
