Many of you are unaware of this dangerous issue but if you don't watch out and keep eating healthy then this could actually happen to you don't say that you'll never get it until you read my story.

Anorexia is a serious disease that, believe me, many girls get just by the way BOYS bother them and give them a hard time about their weight.

My best friend used to be an average weight; she was the perfect size. Then things started getting bad. By grade 7 she was getting bugged by boys about her weight; she would cry every day because of them, even if they were joking. She took everything they said really seriously and she skipped meals to make herself thinner. She started coming to school looking tired, and when she wore small shirts her ribs stuck out. One day in gym, we were playing floor hockey and she stood in the middle of the gym, looking tired and dizzy... I tried to pass her the puck, and just as I wound up to pass it, she collapsed right there and then!

I see it all now. I knew it all, she just wasn't eating. They immediately rushed her to the hospital and the news I got back was that she had anorexia! A month and a half later I lost my best friend, all because of peoples mean remarks.

The other day I was in the Pool Party and I heard some girls talking about their weight. I totally tuned everyone else out and listened to them -- the one girl said, "I am 14 and I am 79 pounds" and the other girl sneered, "Oh yeah, well I am 15 and a half and I weigh 81 pounds!!" and I stared in awe at these small girls. I wanted to straight up tell them that they most likely were going to get anorexic. I didn't, but this is why I wrote this article. I want you all to be aware that if you don't watch your health, then it may just sneak up on you.

This is Holly signing off, hoping that everyone will get the message I am trying to get across here.

And then her knight in shining armor comes along on his dark horse and sweeps her away into the wind... *whisp*.
