Well, the way I see it Whyville popped out of a big bubble. Yes, believe it or not, a bubble. What kind of bubble, you might ask? I'll tell you...

One day on planet Klax, two bugs were buzzing around. Bob the Bug and Marley the Mosquito. But out of nowhere, City Hall popped up! But she wasn't known as City Hall at the time but the young and beautiful City Hallette.

"Gnarly," City Hallette said.

Then miraculously, one of the customized craters from Crater Co. blew up! The prices, can you believe it?! $50 to $175! What? Oh. Oops. Excuse my mistake. Like I was saying the crater blew up! Spewing weird bubbles everywhere!

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" City Hallete screamed with terror!

Then suddenly (suspenseful, huh?) a bubble swallowed her!

5 Days Later...

The bubble popped! City Hallete was no longer a human but a lone face! And she wasn't even really there! Cuz she was in a computer. And not only was she there but a whole staff was there! They were in some place, with animated buildings and heads floating around!

Oh yeah, and then there's the citizens, asking the usual: "Why is this building here?" "Why don't I have a lot of clams?" "Why don't you make your face more exciting?" "Why why why why????"

So City Hall made the town Whyville. And forever more it was.
