Whyville Genesis Story

It was a normal day in California. Everything seemed as it should. But then a discovery was made, so big, that it changed many people's lives.

City Hall, Jim, Bigfoot Bill, Dr. Leila, Mark, Apickard, Polar Star, Kiki, Lois Lee, Smiley, Times Editor, and all the rest were walking on the beach. Then a huge wave came and sucked them all up. They went through the water at lightning speed. They didn't have a clue where they would end up.

When they came to rest, they found that they were on a strange island. "Where are we?" asked Mark.

"I have absolutely no clue, but I intend to find out," said City Hall.

The group walked down a path until they came to a center surrounded with buildings. They had name plates that read: Science House, Y-House, Spin Lab, The Times.

"Wow, this is cool, man!" shouted Jim.

"Yeah, I agree," said Apickard.

They walked a little farther and came to another section. The buildings were Sun Spot and Illusion House.

"Let's keep this place and open it up to the public!" said City Hall.

"Yeah, good idea! I'll be the newspaper editor on this place!" said the Times Editor.

"Yeah, we'll help you on the paper!" said Smiley, Bigfoot Bill, and Lois Lee.

"So that's settled. The rest of us can work on the City. What should we call it?" asked City Hall.

"I have so many questions about this place, this is a big why village," said Polar Star.

"That's it! We'll call this place Whyville!" said City Hall.

So then it came to be. In just a few months, they made a bazaar, a Tiki Tours building, a Sportplatz and playground, Face Factory, Y Ad Agency, Myville for homes, and so much more. They hired a cab driver named Sergio to drive people around in Whyville.

So that's how Whyville came to be how it is today. Thanks for reading!
