I am the lie
That escaped your lips
And ruined your friendship.
I made you miserable
Before you even knew
That I was there.
I hurt your "friend."
But, alas! there it is;
The only thing that can erase
My doings;
An apology.
Oh, well.
There are plenty more victims for me.
