Boy to Man

Dear Jacob, Dear Jacob,
Come sit here with me.
I'll tell you a story,
From when you were just three.

A troblesome boy,
You were at three.
You'd spill ALL your milk,
ALL over me.

At five,
You scribbled all over the wall.
I got real mad,
You thought twas nothing at all.

But now, You are thirty,
And it's your wedding day.
After telling this story,
I have one more thing to say;

Through all of the anger,
and bad days at school.
Dear Jacob, Dear Jacob,
I will miss having you.

My One True Love

Glancing over,
Did I see?
Did he really look at me?
Heart is pounding,
Like a drum.
So quickly I
Swallow my gum.
He comes up close,
looking eye to eye.
His eyes -- so blue,
He is my guy.
He lunges forward,
at my face.
I look at him,
In all his grace.
I wipe the slobber,
off my lips.
And pick him up
around his hips.
I love him so,
He makes my heart jog.
As I look at him,
My dear old Dog!
