Hi! It's me, Angel7990, here again with some helpful advice. I know what you were thinking when you were reading the title of this article: "That is so lame! I'm not in Kindergarten!", but that's not what my article is about. I want to give newbies the three key things they need to know about being in Whyville.

Always keep you password secret. I realize you've heard this a thousand times, but it's the truth. Once you give it out, all sorts of bad things can happen. I, for example, had all of my clams stolen by a friend who found out my password. Plus, I have friends who got banished from Whyville because the hackers were getting my friends in trouble. Hackers can even change your password so you could never get into your account again! Giving out your password can get you into a lot of trouble.

Be talkative. Whyville is filled with chances to chat with other Whyvillians, and it's a great way to make new friends. Basically, what I'm saying is don't be shy to say "hello" or start a conversation with somebody. Before you know it, you will have an address book filled with friends.

Clams should be earned, not given to you. You shouldn't go begging for clams from other people if you want to be respected. There is nothing more annoying than to be asked by a newbie to give up some of your hard-earned clams for them when they haven't even tried to raise their salary! Before you go asking for clams, try other ways to get money. You could play some games or earn some spare clams in the bonus section of your ledger. Writing articles for the newspaper brings in some money, too.

I hope I gave some good advice for some newbies. While you're getting used to the ways of Whyville, always remember your ABC's! *laughs*

This is Angel7990, signing out!
