Hey everyone, here I am for my first article ever... I'm 22kool4u. I have just read an article about a book and about recommending it. And I also have a great series in mind.

Fear Street.

Does it sound lame to you? Just read one book. They're all so exciting, the author uses powerful words, and best of all... they're scary.

Fear Street takes place in a small town called Shadyside. (I don't know if that's a real city or not.) Everyone is afraid of one particular part of the town. You guessed it... Fear Street. They say all bunch of stories about it. Even some that turn out to be true. Now I'll tell you how Fear Street started (in the book):

There was a man named Simon Fear.  He was wealthy and had a wife he loved named Angelica. But as the years passed by, of course they got old and Angelica started to become mad. Simon ignored her. They lived in a huge mansion called Fear Mansion. (Fear Street was not made yet.) One day, they had a huge party and the house caught on fire. No matter how the people tried, the fire wouldn't go out, so they waited. When the fire was gone, no one was found. The mansion had burned to the ground and they didn't dare rebuild anything on it. So they named the property "Fear Street" after Simon and Angelica. That's how all the stories started.

I've read more than 20 of these kind of books. Let me tell you more about the social life:

Shadyside is a small town. The places they usually talk about in the book are "The Corner", the small fast food restaurant, "Alma's Coffee Shop" (doesn't that just give it away?), Old Village (it's an area with houses), Shadyside High (the high school most people go to) and of course, as we all know... Fear Street.

So far in the books I read, the oldest Fear Street book is called "The New Girl".  It's about this girl, Anna Corwin, who comes to Shadyside High. Cory falls in love with her. But then they find the truth about Anna -- they have all this info and picture to back it up... Anna Corwin is dead!!

Wanna know what happens? READ THE BOOK! It's by R.L. Stine. And remember, it's called Fear Street.

The newest Fear Street book I've read so fear is called Trapped. It's about these kids who fall in a secret tunnel and this red mist kills all of them one by one. Now they have to try to get out.

There are much more book I've read, but now I'll recommend a few.

Cheerleaders: Evil 1-6, 99 Fear Street, the House of Evil books 1-3, the Fear Street Sagas, books 1-3, and Silent Night, books 1-3.

These are only a few. So get out of that chair and start shopping for these amazing FEAR STREET BOOKS!

Recommended for: Kids who are over 8 years old and are not too scared. (I gave this book to my friend to read and it scared the guts outta her!)

Read these books if you can handle it, because I guarantee, one of these books should be good.

Gotta go... for now!!

Cya!!
