Hi again! This is Angel7990, with a question about the folks at Whyville.

Have you ever heard the saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover?" Well to me, it seems like several people at Whyville are doing just that.

For example, several people on Whyville turn down a relationship request for no good reason. Too often I've heard people say, "Ur 2 ugly" or "Why would I go out with some1 as ugly as you?" I'm not going to name any names, but that is so wrong! Since when do looks decide whether or not you are good enough to go out with? Besides, what is considered "pretty enough"? Everyone at Whyville has their own style.

Another bad case of this is with newbies. It seems like every single chat room I go to has a newbie in it, and every one of those newbies is being made fun of. People laugh when they see a newbie and talk about how they have no face or they don't have a very good one yet. HELLO?!? Oldbies! You were all newbies once! You were all struggling to get a face and some friends!! Why do you think it is okay to take advantage of a new person that doesn't have a face yet? Every single oldbie who makes fun of a newbie was probably just as ugly when they were newbies, if not MORE ugly!

I'm not trying to say all newbies are ugly. What I'm saying is oldbies need to seriously quit making fun of the newbies. Oldbies should instead offer to give advice or donate Grandma some face part that really looks good to help a future newbie.

I really hope people in Whyville will stop judging people by how they look on the outside, because there is so much more to a person than what they look like.

This is Angel7990, signing out.
