Lately, I have been noticing how so many singers have decided
to try their skills as and actor or actress and vice versa. It really confuses
me. I forget what we know them as today. It's like, "Wait, is Jennifer Love
Hewitt an actress or is she a singer. I forget." Oftentimes, they lack skills in
the department they think will make them even bigger celebrities. Usually
it's not the case.
Take Joey Fatone, Jr. from *NSYNC. He was great in the band. His vocals blended
in and sounded good, but then he decided he decided he would try his luck at
acting. Bad choice Joey, go back to singing, PLEASE! Personally, I think he is a
terrible actor. He's way too obvious.
Then, we have the actors turned "singers." Jennifer Love Hewitt is a good
actress and she is very pretty. But have you heard her song? Could it be any
more synthesized? What's the use in saying she sings it, it's probably some
semi-talented girl who's trying to make it big. They recorded her, synthesized
it and slapped Jennifer's name on the single.
Some people may disagree with me and say that it's great for these celebrities
to be trying new things, but in my opinion, do one or the other, not both!
