I, Cookie188, have recently noticed that School Uniforms have been a big discussion and conversation piece. I've realized while reading past articles that people say things like, "As Human beings we have the right to make choices!" Now, I go to a Catholic school, where we have to wear uniforms. We learn in religion class that God gives us choices because he loves. And, for me, it's true.

I wonder why people make big deals about individuality, when individuality is gone. Why does it matter if we are all given choices if we all buy the SAME American Eagle Shirt or the SAME Roxy jeans? Because that's how it is! Every time I see anyone, anywhere they are probably wearing one extremely popular brand. Every colour day (days where we don't have to wear our uniforms), I see at least four or five girls in a CLASS wearing the same American Eagle 'Stuff-a-booth' shirt.

I consider myself quite an individual. I never buy brand names just because they are brand names. Especially not Roxy, or American Eagle. I wear old school sk8 shoes, not pink and black maddras Vans like everyone else, and I wear studs, which others do to look like Avril Lavigne.

If you imitate anyone, you're only second best to them. So if you're going to ramble on about choices, maybe next time choose the right one.
