Life is Unfair
It's plain, I can see
The confusion, the fog
Are gone from me.
Why is that because of my neighbours
You could not be let outside?
Why is that you were a stray,
Needed to be outdoors to stay alive?
Why is it that now
I miss you more than you can guess?
Why is it I can see you once every couple weeks,
Why not weekdays, why not the rest?
I miss you,
My baby.
I miss you,
Don't forget.
I hope one day,
My neighbours,
For what they did,
Will regret.
You were my baby girl,
My sweetheart,
My mouse trap,
My furball,
My fatso,
My Missy Mew,
My darling, sweet cat.
Be happy in your new home.
Don't be miserable as me.
I would not wish that
On my worst enemy.
Let alone
You.
