Today, I logged onto Whyville and I noticed that a lot has changed. Not only with the snow melted and the new whispering system, but within the Whyvillians themselves. I have been on Whyville since late 1999 and I have seen Whyville grow and change, but something was just different today.

I pondered about this for a very long time. Remembering the times when the Square was the coolest place to hang out and when there was no playground, instead just a "wall" hiding something behind it. I remember when you could clam someone by saying "clam" and then the name. I remember the fashions, which have grown and changed much with the population. What once started with just cartoony faces became something more and more realistic, although keeping the cartoony look. Still, today, something was different.

I continued to think and think until I realized something... that day Whyville hadn't changed... I had. I have changed in the past 4 years from a little 13 year old, just wanting to find something to do online, to who I am today. I would like to think that in all of these years I have grown up, at least if not all the way, then almost. Somehow I look at everything I do differently. I barely get on to Whyville anymore because I have too much to do. Whyville is a great site and I hope to see it grow and grow, because its a part of my childhood. I hope it stays different because that's what makes it so unique.
