BabyPowdr here, with a report on the fabulous fad that's come to be known as Pazaa! Yup, that awesome hand. Everyone wants one, but there are no more. And too bad for us -- according to my sources, they've been banned. You can't make any more due to idiots using them inappropriately. Thanks a lot! =( Anywho... on with the show! (This is a short one.)

I've worked for every clam I own. Whether through salary or Akbar's, I worked MY, uhm... you know, off for them ALL (well, mostly). Now... think about this. You make a face part, say, and you're asking 20 clams for it. Now, you're doing good business, and within a week, you've made a profit. Akbar charges you say, 10 clams per part, plus 50 for the space. So if you sell each for 20, you'd make back your money by selling three. But you don't just sell three, you've sold 7 or 8. BUT, 2 or 3 of those are appearing on face part street-peddlers (as I call them). They are charging 50 clams for it, because once you've made back your expenses, you've discontinued that part. So, 2 or 3 times 50 equals 100 to 150 clams you're missing out on. Why? Because no way Jose are those peddlers going to willingly give up profits to you.

Wait a minute, that's not really fair, right? Well... I know that!

Now, don't go saying that the thing to do is make this illegal. Think about that. First off, there is no way to know who is selling and who's not. It's like illegal trafficking in real life. I mean, that IS illegal, but laws against it doesn't stop it, now does it? Some people are so desperate for money. Does that mean maybe these face part street peddlers are desperate, too? Hm... well, I dunno. But if they are, don't you think we should solve that problem first? We need to create ways for these people to earn a honest dollar, instead of selling "stolen" items (though, really, the items aren't stolen, per se.)
Do we create a clam adoption agency? Hm... why not? Because that'd cause super huge problems. Just like Gramma's, you need a supplier of clams. Are you willing to shed a few bucks to these clamless characters? Didn't think so. Sure, City Hall could just go Al-la-ka-zam! Then there'd be clams, but... wait a minute. There could be a story line to follow that! Where do the clams for our salaries come from, anyways?
Back to the main idea. To get these guys some money. Hm... well, how about Whyfare? It'd work, would it not? Anyone with a salary below such and such could be eligible for so many clams more a month. Say... if your salary is below 40, you are entitled to 100 clams at the start of each month, AND you have to attempt to improve your salary? That'd be a neat idea.

And why did this suddenly occur to me? Because a million and a half people seem to be making money off of this face part. If you have one, now is the time to sell. Prices are high, and people are willing to pay. But it doesn't make this right, now does it? Nope. So, whoever banned the hand, and whoever made it, please get this one rolling again. This person has created such a fad, and they are missing out on many many many clams. It's not fair, if you ask me. And you Akbar, are also missing out on clams.

Also, could someone explain the inappropriate nature/use issue to me? How can you make this Pazaa bad? I don't understand. And if you are one of the people so immature as to try and ruin the face parts for everyone, please stop. Don't act with such idiocy.

Thanks,
BabyPowdr

Editor's Note: Well, who says what those peddlers do is not fair? When you sell a face part, right now you're giving up all rights to the thing, including future resale... doesn't Calvin Klein do that when he sells you a shirt in real life? What's the difference? And as for "illegal trafficking", well, some people *do* think that laws and fines and jail time does decrease it in real life. Do you disagree? Why?

Now, all that said, it doesn't *have* to be this way, especially in Whyville, where it's just a matter of changing a few programs' parameters... hmm! How does that change the face of business in Whyville?
