Hello, this is Madz. I would just like to talk about chatting. Whispering or Arrows?

It is very annoying when people around you whisper to themselves, because you feel left out. But most people that I know, and myself, talk with arrows. You might or might not know what I mean, but I will explain anyway.

Say two of your friends are next to you on the screen, and you want to talk to the person on the right. Using the arrow way, you'd say, ">Hi", with an arrow pointing to the person. Find that using Shift-period on most keyboards.

I think this is much better than whispering. Because if you said, ">Are you playing netball this Saturday?" then other people who like netball might join in the conversation. You might make new friends!

That's why I think that talking out loud (with arrows to show who you are talking to) is best. It just makes Whyville more fun!
