Hey there! It's HYPERyitz here!

I was sitting down one day and reading the Whyville Times with my green tea. I began wondering how healthy is it to drink tea? I did a little research and I found it is, in fact, VERY healthy.

Drinking tea, along with other things (healthy diet, no smoking, etc.), can help prevent cardiovascular disease. This is not guaranteed to work because your age and/or family heritage could cause you to have this disease, also. Surveys in Japan have shown there is less cancer in those who drink tea than those who don't. These results have been more pronounced in those who drink 10 or more cups a day. Tea has also been proven to prevent carious teeth, aka tooth decay.

Tea has a dark side, though. Tea SHOULD NOT be used as fluid replacement. The caffeine held within the tea will have bad effects if your bodily fluids are unbalanced. Those of you, who have an iron deficiency should NOT drink tea with meals. Non-Haem iron is not readily absorbed and tea slims the chances that it is going to be absorbed.

I'm not saying that you have to drink tea to be healthy. Eating healthy foods and exercising can be just effective.

Bye for now!!! I'll be writing soon! This is HYPERyitz signing off.
