Editor's Note: Last week's submissions are here joined by TIKE's four articles. Giggler01, Wildfire9, and TIKE appear to be the front-runners for the Whyville Times Summer Staff. What do you think of their works? Do they get their points across clearly and intelligently? Do their references convince you, or do you think they drift into their own opinions and "I-think-this" too much? Email the Times to let us know!

There are also a few late entries, which will be published later and considered for the positions of Summer Staff alternates along with the runners-up of the regular contest.

TIKE:

Submission #1 -- "SARS: The New Epidemic"

Submission #2 -- "The Hybrid" -- How do hybrid cars work and are they better than pure electric cars?

Submission #3 -- "Stem Cell Research" -- What are stem cells and why are people for/against their use in learning about cancer?

Submission #4 -- "Intelligent Design v. Evolution" -- Is evolution valid? How should schools handle this educational controversy?
