Is it fair parents make us do chores? Is it fair you
have to go to bed at a certain time? Is it fair that you have to do
homework? Well... actually the answer is YES, to all the above. But
come on, now -- we have a freedom of speech, in the USA, anyways. Why
not
learn a little before school starts, and exercise our rights!
There's a new thing going around Whyville... I guess you
could call it the BEST Whyville deal to happen yet: it's the NEW
Whyville Y-Pass, the one where if you buy it, your face parts don't
expire!! Whoa, what a deal! Yeah, you buy it and your face parts
will never ever go away, Whyville is sure to make serious bucks, dough,
moola, money, off of this one!!! Everyone will be buying it within the
midsummer time you're allowed. But let's break it down, and figure
out what we really know about it: scam or not?
Well, firstly, the deal has been postponed -- it might not be available
to us after all. When it was first announced, we knew that you couldbuy
it while the
midsummer sale was still on. I'm not sure if they gave a date out
or not when the sale was to expire. We also knew that once you've
purchased
and redeemed it, you may then be free to buy face parts without the
hassle of expiration dates. Seems pretty good to me, so far. But what
information is still missing? A lot. Once you've bought the
pass, redeemed it, bought parts, and do other things around whyville,
there's still questions to ask. I'm still not sure: why spend my
allowance or hard earned money, when I'm far from positive on the
following things:
1. Do parts start the countdown of 90 days once the pass expires?
Editor: City Hall is currently debating the value
to having this. We don't want to divide Whyville into "have's"
and "have-not's". But, if it does happen, then the answer to this
question is Yes.
2. If question 1 is no, Do parts you buy only while the pass is
still intact not expire?
Editor: The idea is that everything's put on hold
while you have the Pass. If a part has 40 days left on it when you
start the Pass, it will have 40 days after the Pass is done.
3. How long does the pass last?
Editor: One standard pass lasts one month.
You can buy as many as you want, of course -- and don't forget about
bidding on Why-Passes. If you win the bid, you can get a Pass for as
low as $2.
4. When does the middsummer sale last till?
Editor: The Sale has been postponed; look out for
it in the City Hall announcements when you first log in to Whyville!

product
